Rachel Paul MA, BA (Hons), Cert Ed
Rachel has successfully run ConsultEast since 2004. During this time she has gained supplier approval status from oil and gas companies such as Shell EPE for their competence design and delivery for Reliability Engineers.
She offers on-going Leadership and Management development for Petrofac Facilities Management at Bacton gas terminal and Great Yarmouth, as well as MBTI (Myers Briggs Personality Trait Inventory) analysis and Belbin 360 feedback.
Coaching has featured throughout the design and delivery of all Rachel’s management development workshops. Her work in the public sector has included management development for Freebridge Housing Association plus recruitment and selection, as well as benchmarking for the large Housing Association’s IT managers.
John Paul MBA, FCIoH, MBCS
John is a consultant strategic manager and management coach with a successful track record of leading major change initiatives associated with re-structuring, merger, acquisition and business improvement. John is also a Board member of Granta HA part of the Metropolitan Housing Partnership. He is qualified in Marine Engineering, Housing, Management, Coaching and Information Systems.
John's experience of merger integration developed an ability to provide strong leadership support when organisations are in transition. He aims to provide the bridge between strategic aims and deliverable plans by applying his knowledge and experience of people, business processes and information systems. John's approach is underpinned by the structured approach he learnt as an engineer supplemented by knowledge and understanding of how to get the best out of people using a coaching approach. His main interests lie in the relationships between process, people and data.
John employs coaching techniques to empower managers to find their own solutions and structured business process modelling to confirm and record the benefits those solutions deliver. His focus is usually to coach teams and individuals to get more from existing systems, however, he is also experienced in the information systems procurement process from definition of requirements through to post implementation review.

Valerie combines a strong academic background in psychology, counselling and coaching with a wealth of practical experience. She employs a range of powerful and effective individual-centred approaches to individual problem solving and personal development through empowerment.
Peter is a client-oriented freelance consultant, delivering a range of people development, risk management and performance improvement services to the high risk industries. As a qualified executive coach and mentor I deliver both leadership and team coaching, as well as the 1:1 mentoring & development of operational leaders. As a Chartered HSE professional and qualified trainer I develop and deliver bespoke programmes on safety leadership, risk management, Human Factors and Process Safety Management. As an Offshore Installation Manager OIM for a major Operator in the North Sea for over ten years, I built a track record for delivering safe and reliable and projects; systematically improving all aspects of business performance, and training future operational leaders.
Nishi is a professional facilitator and business coach with change management experience gained across the private and public sector. As a senior manager with Ove Arup’s management consulting practice for 5 years she worked with the BBC, Transport for London, Network Rail, British Airports Authority, Urenco and the Department of Health. She has successfully project managed a number of commissions in the transport sector to improve productivity, reduce costs whilst developing and empowering staff to fulfill their potential.
Nishi has also designed and delivered innovative leadership development programmes for NHS Midwifery leaders’ in the East of England and East Midlands Strategic Health Authorities’. Prior to this Nishi worked independently as a freelance coach for 10 years working with senior executives from Anglian Water, Rolls Royce, Atlantic Industries and small business enterprises.
Nishi’s vision is to build a culture of excellent customer service. Her mission is to coach leaders to inspire, and motivate their staff to exceed the expectations of both their internal and external customers.
Pat is a qualified teacher, social worker and executive coach. She is also a business owner with over fifteen years of project management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering projects to exceptionally high standard and within agreed timescales and budget. Her main area of interest and expertise is in supporting and enabling others to “be their best selves” (Jung) and this has been a guiding theme throughout her career.
Pat is a highly motivated person who uses flexible and creative methods to support the growth and development of others. She offers coaching as a resourceful confidential space for clients to clearly identify the issues challenging them, gain awareness of what is possible to move forward and to use their own inner resourcefulness and strengths to make it happen. In so doing Pat can support clients to develop tools for their own personal and professional enrichment. Her coaching practice has included working with leaders and managers in the private, statutory and voluntary sectors, including small business and corporate managers.

Throughout that time he has been a successful and innovative teacher and manager, taking a keen practical interest in developing both the curriculum and the teams delivering the learning. Peter now combines part-time higher education lecturing with consultancy and coaching.

Jane looks after administration for ConsultEast and believes learning and development enhance life in both the professional and personal arena. She is a qualified coach at ILM Level 5 and is also one of our team of assessors, being particularly keen to help our new students build their confidence. Jane has a wealth of experience which she gained from marketing and television before joining ConsultEast and is studying for a BA (Hons) English Literature and Language with the Open University.

Learning & Development Manager
Laura is our Learning and Development Manager. Her remit is to support the growth of the business, working closely with our associates and clients to ensure that we continue to deliver high quality development solutions.
Laura has held several senior positions responsible for managing both HR and Learning and Development teams. She also has experience in several different industries; most recently in the oil and gas sector and previously in both finance and the construction and support services sector.
Laura is very collaborative and professional in her approach; she likes to work in close partnership with clients to ensure their specific needs are met. She is a fully qualified coach, mediator and learning and development professional. As well as studying at post-graduate level with the ILM (Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching) and CIPD (Advanced Certificate in Strategic Learning and Development Management) she is also an accredited Workplace Mediator and approved user of tools such as Belbin, MBTI and BarOn EQ-i.
